garment care
treat your garment like wearable art, wash with care!
✿ wash your garment in cold water, on a gentle cycle and in a mesh/delicates bag
✿ do not stick in the dryer - air dry only!
✿ after washing I suggest a good iron or steam session on the patches for a crisp, clean look.
✿ it’s suggested to only wash as needed - to save water and preserve patches. In between washes, you can spot clean, or freeze your garment overnight to eliminate odors.

You will notice light fraying around the patch edges over time because they are raw. My patches are triple layered though and so the fraying will be light but the patch will never unravel. Please follow the care instructions above carefully for a long lasting garment!

This is to protect the patches and stitching from getting caught on anything during the wash cycle! Either zippers from other garments or parts of your washing machine. You don’t have to do this step but I highly suggest it.

If you have a naturally dyed piece by me you’ve been here for my journey for a while, thank you! Natural dye is known as living color for its tendency to shift hues over time. To preserve color it is highly suggested to only wash as needed - when it is wash time use a PH neutral soap, put it on a cold/gentle cycle and air dry. When wearing be mindful of long periods in the sun and store in a dark place. DM me on Instagram if you have more questions!
